Before the service & troubleshooting

Run a complete rehearsal whenever the deck, room, computer, network, or display wiring changes.

Before people arrive

  1. Open the correct deck collection and service deck.
  2. Read through the complete deck. Check section order, hidden or disabled items, lyrics, Bible text, PDF pages, media, notes, and default slides.
  3. Open Displays → Screens. Enable the intended outputs, choose the right profile for each, and run Identify screens.
  4. Test sound from every audio or video cue. Leave only the intended audible route enabled.
  5. Start the presentation and verify the real projector, confidence screen, and NDI receiver—not only Live View.
  6. Pair each phone role you will use and test it from the operator’s actual venue network.
  7. If AI is part of the service, test the selected microphone and every AI-enabled cue with the actual content.
  8. Stop the presentation, return to the intended starting point, and keep a manual navigation path ready.

The presentation is live, but a projector is blank

  1. Open Displays → Screens and confirm that screen is detected and enabled.
  2. Run Identify screens and confirm the number matches the physical projector.
  3. Check the assigned display profile.
  4. If Live View is also blank, clear Blank, select the intended cue, and advance.
  5. If the screen is not detected, check the cable, adapter, projector input, and the operating system’s display settings, then refresh Displays.

A phone cannot connect

  1. Open Connections → Phone remote and read the connection status.
  2. For Same Wi-Fi, put the phone and Presenter computer on the same network. Guest networks may block devices from reaching one another.
  3. Reopen Mobile control and scan the QR for the correct role.
  4. If the QR is near expiry, use Extend session. If the link may have been shared too widely, use Refresh QR and send the new one.
  5. If venue networking prevents local access and the organisation has Team, switch to Anywhere (Team).

Media plays without sound

  1. Check that the cue itself is not muted and that its volume is up.
  2. Open Displays and enable either Presenter sound or sound on the intended screen.
  3. Avoid enabling sound on several routes unless that is deliberate; duplicate routes can echo.
  4. Confirm the operating system and venue mixer are using the expected output.

Lyrics, Bible text, or chords are wrong

  • Edit reusable lyrics or passages in Lyrics Designer, save, and confirm the deck cue uses the intended item.
  • For a linked second language, keep both items in the same stanza order and enable the linked translation or passage in cue Details.
  • Chords are deliberately hidden from projectors and normal Viewer/Controller output. Use Worship Assist in Remote for a chord view.
  • If saved chords do not appear in Hub, use recognised notation, run Connections → Hub → Sync songs with Hub, and check for a free-plan skip or merge conflict. Select Hub & phone remotes under Topics for the exact steps.

AI does not advance

  1. Confirm AI Assistant is on and all required downloads are complete.
  2. Confirm the current cue or section uses Advance mode → AI assistant.
  3. Check the selected microphone, its input level, and operating-system permission.
  4. Check the language and AI mode.
  5. Advance manually if needed; manual control always remains available.

A Hub change is missing

  • For songs or chord edits, save the song and run Sync songs with Hub. Review any conflict in Lyrics Designer.
  • For an event, choose it again and review the auto-deck preview. Create & open auto-deck always creates a new deck; it does not update or merge into an already edited deck.
  • Confirm Presenter and Hub are using the same organisation.

When a problem is unresolved, preserve the current deck and use manual controls. Do not change display routing, connection mode, or AI setup mid-service unless the fallback is already working.
