Finding your way around Hub

Member navigation

Home shows church announcements, upcoming shared events, your groups, and a link to My serving when you can serve. Agenda lists events published for all members or your groups. Seeing a shared event does not grant access to its private roster, plan, or files. People shows the opted-in member directory, and My groups opens the groups you belong to with their own published announcements and events.

On a phone, Home, Agenda, People, My groups, and More form the bottom navigation. More contains My serving, Availability, Songs, Open roles, Propose, and Profile as your access permits. Guests keep their event-only My schedule and Events navigation.

An invited member must accept the Hub invitation before opening member content. Directory inclusion, email sharing, and phone sharing are independent choices and are off initially. Change them later in Profile. See Member and volunteer workspace.

Organiser navigation on the web

Owners, admins, and editors start at Home, with upcoming services and church updates. Agenda keeps the existing service-planning calendar, Rostering plans several rosters, and Announcements manages published member or group messages. Owners and admins also see People and Songs.

Open More for All events, Groups, Templates, and Settings. Owners and admins manage a person's details, Hub membership, and volunteering together from People. Open a person's details to invite or suspend Hub access and allow general volunteering; the person still accepts Hub and chooses directory and contact sharing from their own profile. This does not replace Team access for editor or admin permissions. Editors can plan services and publish announcements but cannot manage People or Settings.

The native companion stays in the member workspace. Use Hub on the web for organisation administration. Browser administration has its own sign-in session.

Header controls

  • Select the organisation name to switch organisations.
  • Select the ProWeave mark for product information.
  • Select the question-mark button on a wider screen, or open the profile menu, to open this help.
  • Select the bell to review recent declines, accepted assignments, and volunteer proposals.
  • Open the profile menu for Settings and Sign out. Settings is shown only to owners and admins.

Changing organisation changes all event, people, song, and billing information on screen. Always check the organisation name before making a bulk change.

Open an event

You can reach the same event in several useful ways:

  • Select it on Agenda when the date is your starting point.
  • Search for it in All events when the title is your starting point.
  • Select its column heading in Rostering when you are working on rosters.
  • Press Command+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on Windows and search by title.
  • Select a linked notification.

Inside an event, use these tabs:

  • Team & roles — build and fill the roster.
  • Plan — build the order of service and attach resources.
  • Presenter — review the proposed Presenter handoff and its sync state.
  • External collaborators — invite event-only guests.
  • Activity — review planning changes.

Owners, admins, and editors control Collaboration in the event header. It is off by default: volunteers and guests see a read-only Plan, including assigned names and files, without other people’s roster response statuses or management controls. Enabling it also gives active invitees Team & roles, an editable Plan, and External collaborators for that event. They never see Presenter or Activity. See Plan an event.

Live updates and presence

An event shows Live sync when current changes can be shared with other planners. For planners and event collaborators, presence circles show who else is in the event; the read-only volunteer view does not show them. Give another person’s edit a moment to appear before changing the same item.

If updates stop appearing:

  1. Check your internet connection and wait for Live sync to return.
  2. Reopen the event.
  3. Confirm that you are still in the correct organisation.
  4. If a save showed an error, repeat that change; an error is not confirmation that it saved.

Safe editing

Deletion controls require a second confirmation, and organisation deletion requires the exact organisation name. Read the target and scope carefully, especially when changing every event with an exact title match or removing a group.
